IMPORTANT:
Starter cartridges can not be successfully refilled due to a printer reset issue (except when used specifically with the OKI C5100 printer. All replacement cartridges however CAN be successfully refilled and accepted by all printers (Okidata C3200n / C3300n / C3400n* / C3520* / C3530* / C3530n* / C5100 / Okidata C5150 / C5200 / C5250 / C5300 / C5400 / C5450 / C5500* / C5800*) Note: "starter cartridges" refer to the cartridges that come with the printer when you first purchase the printer, and "replacement" cartridges are the ones that you buy loose from printer supply stores. If you have a "starter" cartridge and your printer is not the C5100, it is recommended that you buy a NEW replacement cartridge first (OEM from Okidata, or a compatible cartridge from us), and do your refills on those. We carry new replacement cartridges we well.
Notes:
C5150 starter cartridges can not be successfully refilled at this time due to a printer reset issue.
C5150 replacement cartridges CAN be successfully refilled with a reset solution that we include.
All other models (Oki C5100 etc) can be successfully reset whether they are starter or replacement. "starter cartridges" refer to the cartridges that come with the printer when you first purchase the printer. OKIDATA C5500 models only have chips which will prevent the printer from recognizing the refilled cartridge. No replacement chips are currently available, but you can successfully refill the cartridges and overcome this issue if you refill BEFORE the printer reaches toner low, and the chip switches it all off
Note: It is recommended to refill the same Okidata C5100 toner cartridge up to 2 times before replacing with a new OEM Okidata C5100 toner cartridge. This way you always maintain high quality prints and high page yields alternating between OEM Okidata C5100 cartridges and our Okidata C5100 toner refills. Note that you can refill ANY okidata C5100 toner cartridge, whether its the original cartridge that came with the Okidata printer, or the high yield Okidata C5100 cartridges
